Sogno Toscano means Tuscan Dream. This is the crazy one we had in 2006: an estate in Bolgheri, a small New York apartment, and bottles of olive oil labelled by hand.

Scene one · The beginning
Born in Bolgheri,
raised in New York.
Pietro Brembilla and Brian Persico grew up side by side in Bolgheri, Tuscany, friends from the age of seven. In 2006 they carried their families’ love of real Italian food across the ocean to America.
Pietro’s family estate produced premium olive oil. From a small New York apartment, the two friends labelled bottles one by one, each with a restaurant’s own logo, and offered what no importer would: no minimum orders.
With his father’s belief and investment, the dream took root. It grew into chefs served nationwide, lifestyle cafés, wine bars and villas in Tuscany.
